Payment Terms and Conditions

These Payment Terms and Conditions apply to all training courses, and related services provided by Knightwood Training. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

1. Fees and Pricing

1.1 All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) unless stated otherwise and will be charged at the prevailing rate where applicable.

1.2 Prices are valid for the period stated in the quotation or proposal. We reserve the right to revise prices after this period.

2. Invoicing

2.1 An invoice will be issued upon booking confirmation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.2 Invoices will include details of the Services provided, fees payable, VAT (if applicable), and the payment due date.

3. Payment Terms

3.1Training delivered to Companies, Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.2 For Individuals on public/open courses a Non-Refundable deposit of 50% will be required to secure a place; this will be required when Knightwood Training has to register the course with the awarding body.

3.3 Minimum 7 days before commencement of course start date, individual personal details (security related qualifications) will need to be registered onto a course, the rest of the agreed payment will then need to be paid in full, before registering their details. 

3.4 Payments must be made by bank transfer, debit card, or credit card unless otherwise agreed.

4. Late Payment

4.1 We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4.2 We may also charge reasonable compensation and recovery costs as permitted under the Act.

4.3 We reserve the right to suspend delivery of Services or withhold certificates or materials until full payment has been received.

These Payment Terms and Conditions apply to all training courses, workshops, provided by Knightwood training. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

5. Cancellations and Transfers

5.1 Public/Open Courses: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date: full refund (less any administrative fees, if stated).  Cancellations made within 14 days of the course start date: no refund.

5.2 All cancellations must be made in writing (Email)

6. Non-Attendance

6.1 Failure to attend a course, in whole or in part, does not entitle you to a refund or credit.

7. Disputed Invoices

7.1 Any invoice queries must be raised in writing within 7 days of the invoice date.

7.2 Undisputed portions of an invoice must be paid in accordance with these Terms.

8. Force Majeure

8.1 We shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, illness, industrial disputes, or government restrictions.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

9.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

9.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms.

10. General

10.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of booking shall apply.

10.2 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
